Domremy College is seeking to appoint an outstanding and experienced Diverse Learning Teacher. This is a permanent, 0.4FTE job share position, working Monday and Tuesday.

This role has great diversity and challenge involving the provision of education and pastoral care for students from Years 7 to 12 with a wide range of diverse learning needs. The position requires a teacher with a passion for working collaboratively. As a member of Domremy College, the role requires a commitment to supporting a positive religious and cultural Catholic school environment for young women in the Presentation tradition.

Key Selection criteria

The successful applicant will:

  • demonstrate a commitment to the ethos of a Catholic school
  • be an innovative educator who is future-focused and has a passion for working collaboratively
  • collaborate with staff and parents to meet the wellbeing, pastoral and learning needs of students
  • be an active listener with excellent communication, verbal and written skills
  • be highly skilled in interpersonal relationships with students, staff and parents
  • use of creative and innovative teaching practice to provide a rich environment that caters for diversity which in turn will meet the needs of all students
  • be able to successfully integrate technology into everyday learning and planning
  • have highly effective administrative and organisational skills.
