Seeking a dedicated and proficient Digital Technologies Teacher to join our Technology Department. Full time, ongoing position available.

Position

We are seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Digital Technologies teacher to join our Technology Department. The successful applicant will work as part of a collaborative team teaching Digital Technologies across the middle and senior years, including contributing to the delivery of VCE Applied Computing Units 1–4.

The role would suit an educator with strong programming knowledge and an interest in applied technologies. Experience with Python programming, and technologies such as robotics, electronics, microcontrollers, or CAD/CAM, will be highly regarded.

Applicants who are able to teach an additional learning area such as Mathematics or Science will be viewed favourably.

Salary ranges between $87,707 to $131,515 per annum plus superannuation, depending on the successful applicants’ skills, qualifications and years of teaching experience, as per the Bacchus Marsh Grammar School Enterprise Agreement 2022.

Commencement date negotiable with the successful applicant. Full time, and part time applicants encouraged to apply.

Key Selection Criteria

The successful applicant will have:

• Appropriate teaching qualifications and the ability to become registered in Victoria as a teacher
• Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or interstate equivalent
• Experience teaching Computing / Digital Technologies
• Experience teaching VCE classes
• Current First Aid Certificate
