Our Lady of the Southern Cross (OLSC) is an integral part of the faith community of St Andrew’s Werribee and is one of six parish primary schools. OLSC is governed under the authority of Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Limited (MACS).

This position is to commence at the beginning of Term 2 or later by negotiation.  The Digitall Technologies role is a specialist subject taught across the school from Yr 1 to Yr 6.  The successful applicant will join a dynamic specialist teaching team. This position involves working and planning closely with the other specialist teachers, teams and curriculum leaders to engage and support student learning in the area of Digital Technologies.

Candidates must have an ability to plan, work and learn in a team environment. They must also have excellent classroom management skills and have a commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education and compliment and extend an existing Digital Technologies program.

Special Requirements:

• OLSC promotes the safety, well-being and inclusion of all children; therefore, the successful applicant must demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to providing a safe environment for children;
• The successful applicant will hold the Victorian Institute of Teaching registration;
• Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is preferred;
• Contact details of two referees including current principal.

This position is a 4 day part-time 0.8 (FTE) - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  This role could be negotiated to a full time position.
