We are seeking to establish a pool of Deputy Principal for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and visionary Deputy Principal to lead and support our teaching staff in the implementation of best practices, with a particular focus on the whole school lesson framework. The Role
As Deputy Principal, suitable applicants will ideally lead the development and implementation of best practice teaching and learning strategies across the school, promoting and embedding the agreed school lesson framework to enhance student engagement and achievement.
This role may involve coaching and mentoring teachers to refine their practices and adopt innovative, evidence-based teaching methods, while also facilitating professional learning communities to foster collaboration and growth. Additionally, suitable applicants should ideally provide leadership in the use of data to inform teaching practices and monitor student progress, supporting a culture of continuous professional development and encouraging staff to embrace change and implement new strategies.
As active members of the school leadership team, the desired applicants would work closely with other leaders to shape the school’s educational vision and direction. The ideal candidates should have a good understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), and the ability to work across portfolios where required.
The school has a strong connection with community. As a leader within the school community, suitable applicants will be able to display their ability to build and maintain positive relationships across a range of stakeholders.

Eligibility

- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
- hold registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia
- obtain a valid Working With Children Check before you start; and
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
