About Us:

Redlynch State College is a modern P-12 college situated in a picturesque and safe suburban setting offering the very best learning environment for all our students. The college has a proud history of academic success, sporting prowess, community support and parent involvement.

The school was first opened on the original school site in 1932. The new primary campus, on the current site, was opened in 1994 with an enrolment of 180 and has continued to experience considerable growth. Community support saw the push for a secondary campus and in 2007 our '7-12 campus' opened its doors to year seven and eight. In 2011 we celebrated the first cohort of students to graduate in Year 12.

About the Role:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to;

• Support the Principal in leading the school community to develop and commit to a shared, future-focused vision that delivers high-quality learning outcomes for all students.
• Deputise for the Principal as required, upholding the deputy principalship as a values-based, ethical and moral leadership role.
• Embed socially just, inclusive practices in everyday school life and set high expectations for student achievement and staff performance.
• Build and sustain strong partnerships with parents, community groups, government agencies, industry and business to enhance learning opportunities.
• Build and sustain strong partnerships with parents and students with demonstrated relational and strategic leadership in Year 6 into 7 transition, and a proven ability to lead the Junior Secondary team in case and complex case management.
• Manage school resources strategically to achieve organisational goals, with demonstrated technical leadership of data informed practices in timetabling, cohort management and class composition.
• Demonstrate a sound understanding of relevant legislation and policy frameworks, with a particular focus on managing student behaviour and positive behaviour for learning.
• Engage in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development to ensure effective, informed and forward-thinking leadership.
