Notre Dame College is a new Brisbane Catholic Education College on the Sunshine Coast that opened in 2025. The College provides a high-quality Catholic education for families in the Aura and Caloundra community, catering to students from Prep to Year 12. Located in Aura Stockland, Bells Creek, the College is co-educational and is master planned for 1,836 students when all stages of development are completed. The College is within the Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, Caloundra, and the College’s spirituality is enlivened through the Marist charism.

Summary
Play a key role in driving the Notre Dame College's mission by leading and shaping our innovative Arts learning and teaching programs, as our new College continues to develop and grow.
The Curricumlum Leader (Arts) has an underlying teaching role and will develop the Arts curriculum aligned with national, state, and local standards; implementing effective pedagogies; supervising teaching quality and student learning; using data analysis to guide decisions; building internal and external partnerships; and managing resources responsibly.

- Salary: $86,601 - $124,725 per annum + Middle Leader Allowance - Tier 2 + 12.75% Super

About the opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Leading the designated curriculum area(s) taught in the school
- Applying contemporary learning and teaching research to classroom practice through professional development of teachers engaged in the area(s) of curriculum responsibility
- Supervising and inducting teachers engaged in the area(s) of curriculum responsibility
- Analysing student performance data and addressing areas of concern through appropriate interventions
- Managing financial and material resources within the area of responsibility including the formulation of budgets and the expenditure of allocated funds.
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- A minimum of 5 years teaching experience
- Developed work programs in alignment with national, state, and local requirements.
- Driving the assessment and moderation process when developing new programs.
- Leading and innovating within a specified curriculum area.
- Stakeholder engagement fostering collaboration and transparency.
- Having responsibility for a financial budget.
- For this position you are not required to be Catholic.
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers.
