The Administration Services Officer – School Performance plays a key role in delivering high-quality administrative and coordination support across a dynamic, service-focused team. This position works closely with Senior Leaders and school leaders to support service delivery to schools, ensuring activities, communications, and processes are well-managed and aligned to organisational priorities. The role suits someone who is proactive, highly organised, and confident working across a broad range of tasks, often supporting leaders who are not always office-based. You will bring a strong ability to problem solve, build relationships, and ensure work progresses smoothly through effective coordination and follow-through. About the opportunity
In this position you will:
- Provide advanced administrative support to the School Performance team, ensuring efficient and coordinated service delivery
- Manage and prioritise competing tasks, taking initiative to investigate issues and implement solutions in a timely manner
- Coordinate and support activities across the team, ensuring leaders are well supported and informed, including those working remotely or across sites
- Draft correspondence and respond to enquiries, providing clear and accurate information to stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support collaboration and service delivery
- Support recruitment activities and contract administration, ensuring processes are coordinated, compliant, and delivered efficiently
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Prepare documentation, reports, and administrative outputs to support team objectives and decision-making
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Confident problem solver who can investigate issues and implement practical solutions
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships across diverse stakeholders
- Experience in administration, coordination, or executive support roles (EA-style support highly beneficial)
- Comfortable contributing to process improvement and identifying more efficient ways of working
- There are no mandatory qualifications however previous experience in a similar position would be highly regarded
