Your Role:
- Systematic Synthetic Phonics (DoE), Reading Through the Australian Curriculum, Science of Learning (Reading and Writing), Age-Appropriate Pedagogy
- Lead pedagogical reform
- Apply a whole School Approach to Pedagogy, Reading through the Australian Curriculum
- Work with teachers and year level team to build consistency in agreed school wide pedagogical practices
- Provide needs based professional learning that supports teachers
- Model high quality teaching practices across prep to year 6
- Mentor and support teachers to strengthen practice
The successful applicant will work closely with the Head of Department - Curriculum, contributing to a collective vision of excellence in education and making a meaningful impact on our school community
Applicants for these positions must possess:
- A relevant teaching qualification.
- Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.
- In addition to registration, teachers working in Education and Care Services require an exemption card issued by Blue Card Services.
