Your Role:

• Systematic Synthetic Phonics (DoE), Reading Through the Australian Curriculum, Science of Learning (Reading and Writing), Age-Appropriate Pedagogy
• Lead pedagogical reform
• Apply a whole School Approach to Pedagogy, Reading through the Australian Curriculum
• Work with teachers and year level team to build consistency in agreed school wide pedagogical practices
• Provide needs based professional learning that supports teachers
• Model high quality teaching practices across prep to year 6
• Mentor and support teachers to strengthen practice

The successful applicant will work closely with the Head of Department - Curriculum, contributing to a collective vision of excellence in education and making a meaningful impact on our school community

Applicants for these positions must possess:

• A relevant teaching qualification.
• Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.
• In addition to registration, teachers working in Education and Care Services require an exemption card issued by Blue Card Services.
