About You

As a Chemistry Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:

  • a commitment to the Catholic ethos of the College, the Catholic Church and the wellbeing of all community members
  • demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contemporary pedagogical practices
  • ability to create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
  • the ability and qualifications to teach Chemistry, the ability to teach STEM is advantageous
  • a commitment to academic excellence
  • ability to utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
  • a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
  • ability to support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
  • excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
  • integrated technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences
  • interpersonal skills with parents, students and staff
  • demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team
  • a tertiary qualification in Education & NESA accreditation.
