About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Catering Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of food services at Corinda State High School. This role involves managing multi-site canteens, school catering, and event services while ensuring high standards of nutrition, sustainability, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing financial and operational leadership for food services, including budgeting, procurement, and compliance.
• Planning and delivering catering for school events, VIP visitors, and external functions.
• Managing kitchen operations, staff rosters, and embedding sustainability practices like waste reduction and recycling.
• Developing seasonal menus aligned with Smart Choices, balancing nutrition, appeal, and affordability.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety, and departmental policies.

This role would suit a motivated and innovative leader with a passion for food services, sustainability, and community engagement.

About You

The following traits would be beneficial:

• Experience in managing food services, including menu development and kitchen operations.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and manage staff and volunteers effectively.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, workplace health and safety, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, procurement, and reporting.
• A commitment to sustainability and innovative practices in food services.
