Saint Ignatius’ College Riverview is a Catholic boys’ school in the Jesuit tradition. Located on picturesque grounds in Lane Cove, this leading independent school delivers a holistic education for day and boarding students from Years 5 to 12.

The College is seeking to appoint a Career Advisor in a full-time, ongoing position. The role of the Career Advisor is to develop and coordinate careers education initiatives which provide students and families with careers and general higher education advice to inform decision making around post-school options.

The College is seeking to appoint an outstanding Career Advisor in an ongoing, full-time, stand-down position, commencing Term 4 2026.

ABOUT YOU

The successful candidate will:

• hold the appropriate careers advisor qualifications and/or industry experience
• demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to the Mission and Values of the College
• demonstrate relevant experience in career counselling and guidance of young people
• possess an understanding of current trends in tertiary education admissions processes and requirements
• demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
• demonstrate strong collaborative, interpersonal and communication skills
• demonstrate high level administrative and organisational skills
• have a current Working with Children Check and be committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare and well-being of children and young people
