About You

As a suitably qualified Automotive Industry Trade Trainer, you will be a dynamic educator, keen to engage and inspire our students and deliver a curriculum that caters for students with different learning styles. You'll bring:

  • the ability to deliver high quality, personalised training specific to the qualification
  • the ability to support and supervise a group of vocationally focused students
  • the ability to liaise with industry representatives whilst supporting the workplace learning program
  • effective teaching/coaching skills
  • a commitment to quality education and training and to sharing your industry knowledge with your students
  • the ability to work as part of a team of trainer educators
  • a commitment to the Catholic ethos of the College, the Catholic Church and the wellbeing of all community members
  • experience in training and mentoring young people in an employment or educational environment (highly desirable)
  • relevant industry qualifications in Certificate III in Automotive - light vehicle
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or be prepared to obtain).
