- The role commences in week 5, term 3
- There is a reduced face-to-face teaching load teaching 7,8,9,10
- This position has the possibility of extending into 2027.
The preferred applicant will demonstrate the following criteria:
- Able to teach 7-10 English
- Ability to design and facilitate outcomes-based dynamic and collaborative learning
- Ability to incorporate ICT as an enabler and accelerator for student learning and professional learning
- Can cater for the diverse learning needs of students in the context of 21st Century learning
- Lead and use diagnostic data, summative data and formative data, including observations, annotations and work samples, to inform effective programming and assessment design
- Demonstrated understanding of effective formative assessment and HIT strategies
- Highly developed interpersonal skills demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students and work effectively in a team environment
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to the mission of Catholic Education and a willingness to actively support and promote the Catholic, academic and pastoral dimension of College life.
