Role Description/Criteria

The successful applicant will demonstrate the following criteria:

• have knowledge and experience in teaching Sacramental programs,

• demonstrate strong knowledge of contemporary teaching, learning, and the Victorian Curriculum 2.0,
• build caring, respectful relationships with students, staff, and families,
• deliver engaging, structured programs in Literacy and Numeracy,
• differentiate learning to meet diverse student needs and use assessment to inform teaching,
• embrace innovation, collaboration, and the effective use of digital technologies,
• support the MACS Vision for Instruction and the Explicit Teaching Model,
• inspire students to be confident learners and active contributors in their community, and
• join a welcoming and supportive school community where every child is known, valued, and supported to thrive.

• Current VIT Registration.
• Commitment to Child Safety: applicants must be familiar with and comply with the school’s Child Safe Policy, Code of Conduct, and all related child safety policies and procedures.
• Accreditation to Teach Religious Education and/or a willingness to gain accreditation.
