Role Description/Criteria
All applicants will require:
- a commitment to the Catholic ethos and to the spiritual, emotional, social and educational wellbeing of all students
- knowledge and ability to teach Religious Education
- a commitment to Child Safety and a knowledge of the Child Safety Standards
- the ability to create conditions for learning to ensure that all students are supported to reach their full potential
- a commitment to personalising learning
- the ability to work as part of a team and plan in a collegial manner
- an understanding of contemporary learning technologies and strategies
- a good knowledge and understanding of the Victorian curriculum
- the ability to effectively gather, analyse and use data to inform teaching
- effective communication skills
- a willingness to actively contribute to and be part of school and parish life
The successful applicant will have the basic requirements of:
- registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
- accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school
- adhere to the St Joseph's Code of Conduct and Child Safety Policy
The position will begin at the start of Term 1 2026. This is an ongoing position.
