Role Description/Criteria

All applicants will require:

• a commitment to the Catholic ethos and to the spiritual, emotional, social and educational wellbeing of all students
• knowledge and ability to teach Religious Education
• a commitment to Child Safety and a knowledge of the Child Safety Standards
• the ability to create conditions for learning to ensure that all students are supported to reach their full potential
• a commitment to personalising learning
• the ability to work as part of a team and plan in a collegial manner
• an understanding of contemporary learning technologies and strategies
• a good knowledge and understanding of the Victorian curriculum
• the ability to effectively gather, analyse and use data to inform teaching
• effective communication skills
• a willingness to actively contribute to and be part of school and parish life

The successful applicant will have the basic requirements of:

• registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
• accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school
• adhere to the St Joseph's Code of Conduct and Child Safety Policy

The position will begin at the start of Term 1 2026. This is an ongoing position.
