Year 2 Teacher - Maternity Cover (Summer Term) Location: Havering Agency: Veritas Education

Veritas Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Havering to recruit a Year 2 Teacher for a maternity cover position starting in the Summer Term.

This is a small, community-focused primary school with a warm and supportive feel. Staff work closely together, leadership is approachable and visible, and there is a strong emphasis on creating a nurturing environment for both pupils and teachers. The school prides itself on knowing its children well and providing a calm, positive setting where learning can thrive.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a well-established Year 2 class and will be supported by an experienced and collaborative team. Planning is shared, expectations are clear, and behaviour is well managed, allowing teachers to focus on delivering engaging and effective lessons.

The school is seeking a teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience in KS1, ideally Year 2
• Is confident delivering the KS1 curriculum
• Brings enthusiasm, creativity and a nurturing approach
• Works well as part of a close-knit team
