Working closely with the Head of Year, senior leaders, teaching staff, families and external agencies, you will play a key role in ensuring every Year 11 student is supported to thrive both personally and academically.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding pastoral care and day-to-day support for Year 11 students.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, behaviour and wellbeing, implementing timely interventions where needed.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents and carers to encourage engagement and achievement.
- Support students through the GCSE examination period, helping to reduce barriers to learning and promote resilience.
- Work collaboratively with the safeguarding, SEND and inclusion teams to ensure appropriate support is in place.
- Maintain accurate pastoral records and contribute to student review meetings.
- Promote high standards of behaviour, attendance and conduct in line with school policies.
- Act as a positive role model, fostering a culture of respect, ambition and inclusion.

- Has experience working with secondary-aged young people, ideally within a school or educational setting.
