Salesian College Chadstone is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Voice Tutor to join our vibrant Performing Arts and Music Team on a casual basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced vocal educator who is passionate about developing young performers and contributing to a dynamic and growing music program within a supportive Catholic school community.

About the Role

The successful applicant will:

• Deliver individual and/or small group voice lessons
• Support students in preparing for concerts, productions and College performances
• Conduct Vocal Ensemble rehearsals and performances, including liturgical activities
• Incorporate movement and acting into vocal training for stage performance
• Work collaboratively with Performing Arts staff and fellow tutors
• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the College’s singing program

The Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate

• A high level of skill and experience as a Voice Tutor
• Ability to engage and inspire students
• Experience supporting students in musical theatre and stage performance preparation
• Strong knowledge of effective teaching and learning practices
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• A collaborative and professional approach to working within a team environment
• Experience preparing students for AMEB examinations (desirable)
• A current Working With Children Check
