Frensham Schools is seeking a voice tutor for an ongoing contract role at Frensham (7-12). Frensham Schools has a rich culture of musical excellence and students are supported in the pursuit of their musical studies by a committed team of professional tutors and music staff.

Role Overview and Requirements

Frensham Schools is seeking a voice tutor for an ongoing contract role at Frensham (7-12).

Frensham Schools has a rich culture of musical excellence and students are supported in the pursuit of their musical studies by a committed team of professional tutors and music staff.

Criteria for consideration:

  • experience teaching voice to individuals at various levels from Year 7 to HSC Performance standard.
  • excellent tutoring credentials and experience reflecting an ability to teach a broad range of repertoire and evidence of Art Music training.
  • familiarity with the AMEB syllabus and examination requirements.
  • a demonstrated level of performance ability (piano skills are an advantage)
  • willingness to promote score-reading and musical literacy.
  • well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • a valid Working with Children clearance.

Commencement: As soon as practicable.

All staff at Frensham Schools take an active role in ensuring our Child Protection programs, policies and processes are at the forefront of all that we do. A Working with Children Check Clearance Number must be provided to the School prior to confirmation of the appointment.
