This exciting role involves delivering Certificate II in Agriculture to our students, inspiring a practical appreciation for agricultural practices and rural industries. The successful applicant will demonstrate expertise in Agricultural education and VET delivery, with the ability to engage students through hands-on, industry-aligned learning experiences while maintaining compliance with VET quality standards. The Opportunity

We are seeking a Part Time VET Agricultural Teacher to join our school community to commence on the 27 January 2026. You will deliver CERT II in Agriculture to our students.

The Position

• Title:VET Agricultural Teacher
• Classification: T1 to T2 range depending on qualifications - $79,589 to $118,063 CEMEA 2022
• FTE/ Hours per fortnight: .8 FTE - 30.4 hours per week
• Employment Status: Fixed Term - Leave replacement
• Location: Notre Dame College Knight St or Emmaus Campus, Shepparton
• Start Date: 27 January 2026 to 26 January 2027

You will:

• Be a registered teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
• Have a commitment to Catholic Education and the Catholic Identity
• Plan, prepare and deliver quality and effective teaching and learning programs which are consistent with the Australian Professional standards for teachers: the College Learning and Teaching Charter, College course outlines, curriculum policies, work programs and educational trends
• Support students through interaction with them in a variety of settings and through the active development of supportive learning environments and effective behaviour management practices.
