Role Description

The Tutor will be responsible for:

• Conducting face-to-face small-group and one-to-one tutoring sessions
• Following prepared lesson plans
• Providing academic support and guidance to students
• Tracking student progress to tailor learning strategies accordingly

Tutoring at Launch occurs before, during, and after school hours. There is flexibility to choose times that suit your personal schedule.

Qualifications and Essential Skills

• Tertiary teaching qualification
• Current VIT registration
• Minimum 3 years experience teaching primary school-aged students
• Strong knowledge of educational strategies and effective teaching methodologies
• Ability to build a strong, positive rapport with students and families
• Skilled in assessing student needs and adapting teaching methods accordingly
• Patience and empathy in working with children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated reliability and professionalism
