The Opportunity: Specialist Teacher

This position is designed for an adaptable and passionate educator keen to make a genuine impact. As a Specialist Teacher, you will provide release for classroom teachers -currently we are delivering Art and PE however have scope to negotiate subjects based on your strengths and interests.

You will join a collaborative team, teaching alongside dedicated R-12 teachers, and have the chance to help shape curriculum and programs that support the diverse needs of Yalata students. As a key member of our school, you'll build positive relationships with students, staff, families, and the wider community, and actively engage in culturally responsive education.

Bring your creativity and expertise! Contribute to the school's focus on EAL/D education, and support students through school to work transitions. Make a difference every day by fostering curiosity, confidence, well-being, and strong community links.
