Position Descriptor:
The Aboriginal Teaching and Learning lead teacher is connected to the Whole of College Teaching and Learning team. They are managed by and report directly to the Aboriginal Education Coordinator who is responsible for monitoring their impact and reporting on outcomes. The 0.6 FTE Aboriginal Teaching and Learning lead teacher focusses on the following key areas of the AET role statement: Participating in collegial learning to ensure pedagogy and professional learning is culturally responsive and inclusive Supporting the delivery of inclusive and contextual curriculum with a particular emphasis on building the capacity of teachers across the College to incorporate the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures cross-curriculum priority into their teaching practice. The role may be increased to 1.0 with other duties for the right applicant.
