Position Descriptor: Callington Primary School is a small rural school located between Mt Barker and Murray Bridge. Positive student wellbeing, high expectations and collective responsibility lead to improved outcomes at our school. We prioritise the development of strong literacy and numeracy foundations in the early years and expect high-quality, engaging pedagogy across all year levels.

• We are seeking an experienced and motivated Reception teacher for 2026 who:
• Prioritises student wellbeing and safety
• Has strong expertise in early years literacy and numeracy, with the ability to use data to inform teaching
• Uses positive behaviour strategies and adapts effectively for neurodivergent learners
• Works collaboratively and flexibly as part of a small, close-knit team
