Veritas Education is currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable School Caretaker to work at a welcoming primary school located near Keighley, Bradford. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school environment and play a key role in maintaining the safety and functionality of the school site.

???? Key Responsibilities:

• General maintenance and repairs across the school premises
• Ensuring the site is clean, secure, and safe for pupils and staff
• Managing heating, lighting, and alarm systems
• Supporting health & safety compliance and routine checks
• Opening and locking up the school daily
• Liaising with contractors and external services

✅ Essential Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service
• Previous experience as a caretaker in a school or similar setting
• Good understanding of health & safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Strong communication and organisational skills
