The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Work with individual pupils and small groups to support learning and progress.
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Assist with classroom management and pupil engagement.
• Support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally throughout the school day.
• Contribute to the overall development and wellbeing of pupils.

Requirements

• ✅ Previous and proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant is essential
• ✅ Experience supporting pupils within a primary school setting
• ✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• ✅ A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude
• ✅ Strong classroom support and behaviour management skills
• ✅ A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential
• ✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
