SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School Location: Newham, East London Pay: Competitive daily rates

Veritas Education is currently recruiting an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive primary school in Newham.

This role is suitable for SEN TAs who have experience and/or relevant SEN qualifications, and who are confident supporting pupils across any primary age group, from Early Years through to Key Stage 2.

The role:

• Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and additional learning needs)
• Working 1:1 and/or in small groups
• Supporting pupils' learning, behaviour, and emotional development
• Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant and/or relevant SEN qualifications
• Experience working within a primary school setting

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
