Key Responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning within the EYFS setting
- Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions
- Support children's early reading, phonics, language, and numeracy development
- Assist with planning and delivering engaging learning activities
- Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and social development
- Complete observations and contribute to children's learning records
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and the wider school team
Requirements
Essential:
- Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working within an EYFS setting
- Good understanding of the EYFS Framework
- GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
- A caring, enthusiastic, and proactive approach
Desirable:
- Experience within a primary school setting
- Knowledge of phonics and early intervention programmes
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Paediatric First Aid qualification
