Turramurra High School is a vibrant and dynamic coeducational secondary school located on the beautiful Upper North Shore of Sydney. At Turramurra High, 38% of students come from non-English speaking backgrounds, the school proudly supports the education of Aboriginal students and currently offers an International Students Program in Years 10 - 12, all of which contribute to the school’s rich cultural diversity.

Selection Criteria
- Approval to teach SDD - Software Design and Development, IPT - Information Processes & Technology and IST - Information and Software Technology and a willingness to teach Technology Mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a collaborative member of a faculty and contribute to developing, implementing and evaluating high level teaching programs and resources within the faculty, which support student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Proven ability in classroom management, communication and interpersonal skills that build positive and productive working relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider community.
- Willingness to contribute to school excellence by enabling student opportunity and fostering equity through driving programs such as co-curricular and enrichment activities (e.g. STEM clubs, coding competitions, community partnerships) that engage students from diverse backgrounds.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
