Collarenebri Central School is a Connected Communities satellite school with a current enrolment of 69 students.
The school is well-resourced and provides a Kindergarten to Year 12 multi-stage comprehensive educational experience with academic, creative, physical, social-emotional and cultural programs to engage and develop all students. Specific Selection Criteria
- Approval to teach special education and/or experience teaching students with Behaviour Difficulties and Emotional Disturbance
- Demonstrated ability to differentiate the curriculum by developing and implementing personalised learning and support that is culturally responsive, maximises student growth, fosters high expectations and promotes student engagement.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to contribute to whole-school culture and work collaboratively to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents/carers, external agencies and members of the wider community.
- Evidence of successful classroom management with flexible and adaptive strategies that create a positive learning environment, including the use of early intervention strategies.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Connected Communities Strategy key deliverables.
Conditions
Successful applicants may be entitled to a Recruitment Bonus of $20,000 (conditions apply) and a relocation support payment of $5,000 to $8,000 for eligible applicants. The Recruitment Bonus will be paid on a pro rata basis for permanent part-time teachers and executive staff. The maximum recruitment bonus available for a position is $20,000, including any job share arrangements.
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
