Partnered with Robina State High School, this is an education program for secondary students who attend the 'Yangah' Adolescent Day Program, located on the Robina Hospital campus.
The Yangah Adolescent Day Program provides a culturally safe mental health recovery service with integrated education programs for young people aged 12 to 18 years. The teaching team works closely with the health team to deliver a safe and respectful learning environment, where students have opportunities to engage in quality learning experiences and acquire values supportive of their lifelong wellbeing.
The program offers a structured timetable, up to five days a week between 9am-3pm during Queensland school terms. Teachers and a guidance officer offer individual learning plans and support young people to reengage with their education, transition back to school or other learning pathways.
