Requirements for Chemistry role

Essential

  • Comprehensive understanding of the current 2025 General Chemistry QCAA syllabus
  • Experience in the design of Data Test, Student Experiment and Research Investigation assessment instruments that receive endorsement from the QCAA
  • Experience in the design and delivery of engaging theoretical and practical lessons

Desirable

  • Awareness of the trends identified in internal assessment judgements and confirmation process that are outlined in the annual subject report from QCAA
  • A high level of personal organisation of lesson resources and further materials that support a student's engagement with the study of chemistry in their own time (e.g textbook references, structured homework tasks)
