The successful applicant will build strong, respectful relationships with students, families and colleagues while maintaining high expectations for student learning, behaviour and engagement. You will be reflective in your practice, open to feedback and committed to ongoing professional growth within a collaborative school culture.

Teachers at Grand Avenue State School work closely with their year-level team to plan, teach and assess using data-informed practice. The role requires strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum, effective classroom management strategies and the ability to differentiate learning to support a range of student needs. Confidence in teaching literacy and numeracy at the Year 5 level will be highly regarded.
