Job Summary

Marsden High School Full-time or Part-Time for 7 weeks Term 2 2026

Marsden High School is a co-educational government high school with 1170 students including an Intensive English Centre and Support Unit. Over 70% of HSC graduates enter tertiary study. In April 2022 we relocated to Meadowbank on a modern purpose built site with fantastic new facilities.

We are seeking one candidate for an exciting opportunity in the creation of an Independent Learning Centre (ILC). Successful applicants may be primary or secondary trained and will be working mainly with Stage 4 students who require learning assistance and/or EALD support. The ILC will involve the withdrawal of students from core subject areas into a specialised classroom setting, in which class size is maintained at ten or less students. The focuses will be literacy and numeracy growth, assessment support and study skills development. Other duties will include teaching one or two Stage 4 classes across various KLAs as required.
