Teacher Aide position Ironside State School Ironside State School is seeking a Teacher Aide for a unique opportunity to contribute to improving our school for every staff member and therefore every child.

The successful applicant will be assisting the principal and business manager in designing and putting together a Resource Room for Ironside State School.

As well as this portfolio, the successful applicant will create a system of tracking our furniture resources. Overtime, the successful applicant will work with the principal and business manager to evolve the role to be responsive to Ironside State School's needs.

Step Into Your Next Chapter:

Teacher Aide position Ironside State School 30hours per week plus 12.5% SJM

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting teachers and students with sporting activities and with school excursions.
  • Assisting with the management and stocktaking of equipment and resources.
  • Communicating effectively and displaying high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member.
  • Maintaining anecdotal records on students for use in reviewing student's development.
  • Displaying respect and empathy for students with high level needs.
