Coopers Plains State School is located on Orange Grove Road and services the community of Coopers Plains and parts of Sunnybank, Salisbury and Nathan. Coopers Plains, formerly Orange Grove State School is the oldest school in the district and has a proud history and traditions to uphold.

• Assisting teachers and students with sporting activities and with school excursions.
• Assisting with the management and stocktaking of equipment and resources.
• Communicating effectively and displaying high level of interpersonal skills to function as an effective team member.
• Maintaining anecdotal records on students for use in reviewing student's development.

The Perfect Fit:

• Experience and ability to support students with disabilities and /or complex behaviours
• Knowledge of behaviour management strategies-in particular-PBL
• Able to assist with activity preparation and resourcing
• Is able to work as part of a team
• Display confidentiality, tact, reliability and sensitivity to students and their families.
• Have strong communication and time management skills
• Literacy and numeracy competency
• Is motivated and uses initiative
• Assisting teaching staff with playground supervision
• Completed Education Queensland mandatory training and student protection training.
