Your Opportunity

We are seeking dynamic and innovative educators to join TAFE Queensland’s Electrotechnology Talent Pool (Electrician – UEE & Instrumentation/Control streams).

As a valued member of the teaching and delivery team, you will contribute to the development and delivery of quality learning experiences for a diverse range of students through:

  • Delivering engaging, industry-aligned training and assessment aligned to UEE Electrotechnology Training Package qualifications
  • Supporting students to develop practical skills across electrical systems, instrumentation, and control technologies
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of training and assessment practices
  • Mentoring and guiding apprentices and learners to achieve successful trade outcomes
  • Maintaining strong connections with industry to ensure training reflects current standards, technologies and regulatory requirements
  • Modelling safe work practices and reinforcing a strong safety culture

Mandatory Qualifications/Requirements

a. Vocational competencies at least to the level being delivered and assessed;

  • UEE30820 - Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or Equivalent; with
  • UEE22020 - Certificate II Electrotechnology or Equivalent

b. Possession of one of the following training and assessment credentials (TAE40122, TAE40116, etc.)

c. Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided;

d. Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning

e. Evidence of undertaking professional development

Working with Children Check (Blue Card) required.
