About the Role:

While the role is ongoing and permanent, the leadership component is offered as a valuable max-term opportunity for a period of three years, with the potential for renewal or future leadership pathways.

As a Subject Coordinator of Innovative Design, the successful candidate will:

• Provide strong people leadership and subject expertise in your discipline.
• Coordinate curriculum delivery, assessment design, and academic continuity across Years 7 - 12.
• Mentor and support teaching staff within the department.
• Foster a student centred learning environment with high expectations.
• Collaborate with faculty and school leadership to drive teaching quality and innovation.
• Support pastoral care initiatives and cross curricular projects.
• Collaborate with the Innovation and Enterprise Learning Strategist on Ignite Programs across the school

About You:

• Qualified, NESA registered teacher with WWCC.
• Demonstrated leadership in middle level roles such as Subject Coordinator, Head of Department, or similar.
• Proven expertise in curriculum planning, assessment, and data driven teaching.
• Outstanding communication, mentorship, and team building skills.
• A strategic mindset to inspire innovation and continuous improvement.
• Commitment to pastoral care, student engagement, and wellbeing.
