Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and highly skilled Primary Literacy Teacher to lead a Stage 3 HPGE (High Potential and Gifted Education) Reading Group two days per week (Thurs/Fri).

This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is committed to extending high-achieving students and delivering rich, engaging literacy experiences within a supportive and collaborative school environment.

About the Role

The successful applicant will:

• Teach a Stage 3 HPGE reading group (2 days per week)
• Develop and implement high-quality literacy programs aligned with the NSW Literacy Syllabus
• Differentiate learning to extend and challenge high-achieving student

Selection Criteria

• Strong knowledge of the NSW Literacy Syllabus
• Demonstrated experience and/or a willingness to program for and teaching high-achieving or gifted students
• Ability to design engaging, rigorous and differentiated literacy learning experiences
• Commitment to collaboration and reflective practice
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
