About You

As a Sport Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:

• experience in teaching K-6 PDHPE
• a wide understanding of current best teaching practices in PDHPE
• vision and innovative thinking in the development of PDHPE programs
• an ability to organise and coordinate sports carnivals and co-curricular activities
• confidence and competence in the use of ICT
• a commitment to a learning culture focused on student learning growth, informed by data
• highly developed interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents/carers, students and staff
• a willingness to be involved in the Co-curricular life of the School
• expertise in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
• strong classroom management & student well-being focus
• ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
• a tertiary qualification in Education & NESA accreditation
• Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
