Specialist Teaching Assistant - Middlesbrough

Pay £90-110 p/day

We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Specialist Teaching Assistants to support a vibrant and highly inclusive specialist setting in Middlesbrough. The school is committed to promoting independence, dignity, and positive communication for all pupils, creating a nurturing environment where every young person can thrive academically, socially, and personally.

About the Role As a Specialist TA, you will work closely with pupils who have a range of complex needs, helping them access learning in a safe, engaging, and supportive environment. You'll collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team and contribute to personalised learning plans that celebrate every student's abilities and achievements.

What We're Looking For

Experience supporting pupils with SLD, MLD or PMLD (advantageous but not essential)
A patient, resilient and nurturing approach
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow structured support plans
Someone who is adaptable and confident in a specialist or sensory-led learning environment
A valid Enhanced Child & Adult Workforce DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
