The Role
As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students in the classroom across a range of subjects
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support where required
- Help students stay focused, motivated, and engaged in their learning
- Support pupils with additional learning needs and promote inclusion
- Encourage positive behaviour and contribute to a safe learning environment
What We Are Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people
- A patient, caring, and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A flexible and adaptable approach to supporting learning
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
