The Role
Lysterfield Lake College is seeking passionate and dedicated Secondary Teachers to join our growing team. We have two exciting full-time ongoing opportunities available:
- VCE English and Secondary English Teacher
- VCE Mathematics and Secondary Mathematics Teacher
Reporting to the Headmaster, you will deliver engaging and high-quality learning experiences that inspire students to achieve their personal best. You will develop and implement curriculum aligned with the Victorian Curriculum and VCE requirements while supporting the College's philosophy of academic excellence, character formation, and Christian education. Working within a collaborative and supportive environment, you will contribute to the academic, pastoral, and co-curricular life of the College.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective teaching programs in your subject area, aligned with the Victorian Curriculum, VCE requirements, and the College's educational philosophy.
- Plan, differentiate, assess, and provide timely feedback to support student achievement, wellbeing, and success in secondary education.
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture that promotes academic excellence, resilience, and positive character development.
- Build strong partnerships with students, parents, mentors, and colleagues to support each student's academic and personal growth.
- Contribute to the broader life of the College through curriculum development, professional learning, co-curricular activities, and College community events.
