Secondary Teacher - Mathematics

The position

The School is seeking a passionate and professional Mathematics teacher to join our team. There are ongoing and fixed term position available on a full-time basis, commencing 2027 (please state any additional teaching subjects). The ability to teach Specialist Mathematics or IBDP Higher Level Mathematics (International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme) would be an advantage. An ability to inspire students through engaging and intellectually challenging teaching is essential. Familiarity with the Australian Curriculum, the International Baccalaureate (MYP and/or DP), and the BSSS (Board of Senior Secondary Studies) programmes will be highly regarded.

Canberra Girls Grammar School

Canberra Girls Grammar School (CGGS) is an independent, non-selective Anglican school with an enrolment of approximately 1,300 students. Spread over two campuses, the School is co-educational from Early Learning to the end of Year 3 and girls only from Years 4 to 12. Boarding facilities are available for girls in Years 7 to 12. Established in 1926 by the Sisters of the Church, led by Mother Emily Ayckbowm, CGGS is the oldest private day and boarding school in the ACT.
