Lighthouse Christian College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Teacher to join our team in a full-time, 12-month contract position. This role offers an exciting opportunity to teach VCE Chemistry alongside Junior Secondary Art and Visual Communication, within a supportive and faith-cantered school community.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs in Chemistry and Arts
• Plan, assess, and report on student progress
• Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
• Contribute to curriculum development and faculty initiatives
• Participate in College events, meetings, and co-curricular activities

Desirable (but not essential)

• Ability to teach additional Science subjects
• Experience with Maker Space or interdisciplinary learning

Essential Requirements

Applicants must:

• Hold a current VIT registration
• Demonstrate a commitment to child safety
• Alignment with Christian values and the College's ethos is an essential requirement for this position
• Hold a bachelor's degree with a recognized teaching qualification
• Be an Australian citizen or hold a permanent residency visa
