Exciting Teaching Opportunity – Southside Brisbane

We are looking for our next classroom hero to join us as a Permanent Full-Time Teacher at our Southside Brisbane campus in Parkinson. This role will initially be based at this campus for Term 1, 2026, with the potential to move to another campus in the region from Term 2, 2026.

As a teacher here, you’ll play a vital role in engaging young people and supporting their educational and personal growth. Working alongside experienced and passionate colleagues, you’ll deliver curriculum, mentor students, and make a real difference in the lives of young people from diverse backgrounds and with varying learning needs. Even small interactions can have a huge impact. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a setting that values holistic development, community, and personal fulfillment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Delivering academic and wellbeing programs to students
• Supporting vocational training programs offered to students
• Assisting the Head of Campus in achieving educational, wellbeing, and vocational objectives
• Creating a safe, nurturing, and learner-focused environment aligned with curriculum goals
• Collaborating with colleagues to plan, deliver, and differentiate structured lessons
• Assessing student progress and providing meaningful feedback
• Supporting students with a range of learning needs, including disabilities, behavioural challenges, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADD/ADHD, low literacy/numeracy levels, and mental health concerns

Who We’re Looking For:

• Relevant university degree, current Queensland College of Teachers registration, First Aid, and CPR certifications
• Ability to plan and deliver teaching programs that meet diverse student needs and learning styles
• Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices, assessment, and learning technologies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including effective behaviour management strategies
