Marian Catholic College is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Music teacher to join our dedicated team in a temporary 0.4FTE job share position until the end of 2026 (with the potential for the position to continue into 2027).

This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students through Music within a supportive and dynamic learning environment. Responsibilities:

• Structure lessons to meet the physical, social, and intellectual development of students.
• Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and challenging learning environment.
• Adhere to the assessment schedule and maintain records of student achievement.
• Provide extensive pedagogical knowledge and enhance the learning and teaching of the subject matter.
• Work creatively and constructively within various school communities.
• Set high, achievable goals for yourself and your students.

About You:

• Qualifications and ability to teach Music in a secondary school in accordance with NESA requirements.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, ensuring reporting deadlines are met.

• Skill in creating effective assessment techniques and differentiating learning activities.
• Willingness to be an active part of the Marian Community.

Qualifications and Accreditations:

• Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation - Working with Children Check clearance.
• Eligibility to teach according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
• Relevant tertiary qualification (new grads encouraged to apply).
