We are seeking an English Teacher who can spark curiosity, sharpen thinking, and drive excellence across the English curriculum at St Patrick’s College, Strathfield. This permanent full‑time role, commencing Monday 1 June 2026 (or by negotiation), is ideal for a dynamic educator who thrives in a collaborative, student‑centred environment and is passionate about delivering high‑quality teaching, learning, and wellbeing outcomes. You will play a key role in shaping engaging learning experiences that develop our young men as confident communicators, critical thinkers, and thoughtful readers and writers.

About You

• You have a working understanding of, and commitment to, the Catholic ethos of a School in the Edmund Rice tradition.
• You have a demonstrated understanding of appropriate behaviours and professional boundaries that reflect child safeguarding values in practice.
• You are qualified to teach English (Stage 4 to Stage 6) with current NESA Accreditation and approval to teach in NSW.
• You are committed to excellence as a classroom practitioner and have the ability to cater to a diverse range of learning needs through differentiation of curriculum.
• You demonstrate effective classroom management that supports a positive, respectful, and engaging learning environment.
• You effectively incorporate ICT into teaching, learning, and assessment to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
