Matrix Education is now hiring Science Teachers across Biology, Chemistry or Physics to join the team at our Sydney metropolitan campuses for the January 2026 school holiday program.

As a holiday teacher, you will deliver daily weekday classes to Year 11 and 12 Science students. Minimal lesson preparation is required, as all lesson materials and resources are provided.

This role is ideal for a current NESA accredited Teacher or a postgraduate student (MTeach, MD or PhDc) seeking casual teaching work during the upcoming school holidays. You must be available to teach weekdays from Monday 12 January 2026 to Friday 23 January 2026 (inclusive).

What you'll do...

• Teaching year 11 and 12 Biology, Chemistry or Physics lessons.
• Ongoing monitoring of student’s academic progress through marking of short daily quizzes.

What you'll need...

• Possess a genuine passion for teaching.
• Previous experience teaching Biology, Chemistry or Physics in a classroom setting.
• Have extensive knowledge of the current NESA curriculum in stage 6 Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
