Radford College is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Science Teacher to join the Secondary School team in either a permanent or fixed-term, full-time position commencing in Term 1, 2027.

The Opportunity

Radford College is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Science teacher to join the Secondary School team in a Permanent, fixed-term, full-time position commencing Term 1 2027.

About you

The successful candidate will be an energetic secondary educator who will have:

• Proven experience and expertise teaching Science across Years 7-12, with BSSS or Senior teaching experience highly regarded.
• A strong passion for teaching and learning and a commitment to student achievement and wellbeing
• The ability to create engaging, inclusive, and appropriately challenging learning environments that support the success of all students.
• A commitment to innovative teaching practices and the application of evidence-based pedagogical approaches.
• A collaborative and proactive approach to teamwork, contributing positively to departmental and whole-school initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, supported by strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• A willingness to actively support and participate in pastoral care and co-curricular programs, including camps, excursions, and other student activities.
• A strong commitment to safeguarding students and promoting their welfare and wellbeing.
• Alignment with and support for Radford College's strategic priorities and educational vision.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification recognised by the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI)
• Current Teacher Quality Institute registration, including Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration
• Current First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
